District News

Our District Nominating Committee has selected Claudia Frost from our Brunswick Club, to serve as our District Governor for 2022 - 2023.

Claudia's Rotary background is extensive. Here's a sampling of highlights:  District Peace Scholar Chair, District Visioning Facilitator, Assistant Governor, global grants and international work, multiple terms as Club President, and multiple terms as Club fund raising chair.

Claudia and her husband Bill Allen are significantly involved in their community. They work with "youth with difficulties". They both serve as facilitators and mentors for the Restorative Justice program. Claudia also works locally with hunger prevention, literacy, and shelter support.

Professionally, Claudia has her doctorate in music education, and has taught and conducted  from churches to University. Claudia sings opera, and has performed from Alaska to Italy.

Please join with me, and my DG-track colleagues Peggy and Dick, in welcoming Claudia to our District's leadership team!
