Program

Jim Brennan from Federal Savings Bank came to present to us where FSB is currently and where they are going to remain a viable and thriving financial institution.  Jim has been in banking since 1984 and has seen many changes in banking in that time.

FSB is a 130 year old institution. This summer they are making several changes to remain viable.  Firstly they will be re-branding to First Seacoast Bank.  The feel that this will reflect that they remain a local institution serving the seacoast area. The new brand will have a broader appeal to the local market. The new name will also allow them to remain "FSB" as a recognized locally. Secondly, they will have a new structure with a Mutual Holding Company.  This will allow the bank to offer stock and be an IPO.  This in turn allows more growth and capital for their members.   They will also be adding a new charitable organization under the parent company.

Their hope is that these changes will allow them remain a main street style bank with the personal touch their members are accustomed to and will hopefully attract new clientele.
