We had 2 members from FFI speak today and Director of WaysMeet in Durham, Alexis Simpson.
The FFI members were great speakers talking about what brought them to FFI and what they are getting out of it.
Alexis talked about the renovations going on at Waysmeet. New Floors in the prep and storage areas, new coolers, new system for distribution.
She discussed how they have a meeting room available to the community.
She discussed their Food Rescue Program with area stores to reduce food waste and get it to people who need it.
