Pres. Russ: Opened his first meeting of the Rotary year. Looking forward to a great year filled with service.
Tom B. has stepped up to be this years Membership Chair.  Ric will temporarily fill the Admin/speakers roll.
Andy: Bingo: Andy passed around the sign up and we sill have a few holes, please check your availability. If you find you can volunteer, Check Google docs for open dates. Or contact Andy.
Will: The Durham swap shop project is scheduled for Jul 17th.  We'll meet on site at 7:30 AM.  Check with Will to see what tools would be helpful you could bring.  This project is replacing our meeting that week. Please come and participate as long as you are able. We will also have help from Friends Forever, International.
Tom: Friends Forever has also invited us to a Farewell dinner at their location in Durham to say goodbye to the volunteers that helped during the fireworks. They will be headed back to Ireland. Dinner is at 5pm.
Friends Forever is also looking for additional participants for a upcoming trip to Belize. It is a 5 day trip in September.  Please see Tom B if you are interested.
Jon Belcher spoke to us about Lobsters!  Jon explored the anatomy of the North American Lobster and went over their range and habitat.  Discussed the molting process and the life cycle of the lobster.  Jon share many interesting facts about them and how their habitat has been "migrating" more and more north due to warming oceans.  Jon even brought a lobster friend to show.  The program was very engaging.
