Program
Coach McDonnell was our speaker and thanked us for the very good thing we did for the community with the fireworks.
He wished he had spoken with us before the season opened. They're 0 - 2 after meeting Maine and Colgate. Each Sunday, the team gathers to watch the film of the preceding day's game. Maine has a very good team this year, and Colgate was strong with 19 returning players.
The team travels to PAC 12 Colorado next, a team that beat Nebraska at Nebraska! The altitude will be a challenge and our starting QB is out. On top of that, it's Colorado's home opener in front of 47,000 fans. (Ed. note: Coach was right about the challenge; final score 45 - 14.)
Hopefully, the remaining 8 games with 1AA rivals after the bye week will be more like it. UNH has had a long run of making the playoffs. With 5 home games left on the schedule, we meet Holy Cross on Oct 6th at 1 PM.
