District News -

Below is an e-mail Rich Cromwell of the Bath Rotary Club sent out today. He has set up a meeting to bring together all clubs and members that have an interest and/or involvement in water/sanitation projects. Rich's e-mail is richcromwell1@gmail.com

Subject: WASH Workshop / Cabelas / Saturday, November 9th, 9:30 to 11:00 am

Like-minded Rotarians are conducting a WASH workshop  at which we can all share
information about our WASH projects and determine if we are able to assist one another.
We envision each attendee outlining their project or projects for 3-5 minutes. This introduction will be followed by individual presenter's
questions for the group and questions that the group has for the individual presenter. We can share resources, knowledge, and experiences
that will benefit all of our WASH endeavors.
Please respond directly to this email if you can attend on Saturday, November 9th, from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Cabelas.

District E-Club

Do you know someone who wants to be involved in Rotary but can't make meetings?  Let them know about the E-Clubs in our district. These clubs allow you to participate in Rotary with a more flexible schedule!

Due to popular demand ... the phone call to discuss possibility of e-club "in the cloud" here in District 7780 will be held twice this week! Please check out updated times/call in info below:

Tuesday, Nov 5th, 2019; 7:00 PM ET
and/or Wednesday, Nov 6th; 7:00 PM ET

To join online: https://zoom.us//j/8209252012

Or, to dial in:  646 558 8656 US
Meeting ID:    820 925 2012

Or, with iPhone One tap mobile:
+16465588656,,8209252012# US

The purpose of these calls is to assess interest in an e-club here in District 7780.  Pluses for such a club include:

1.  Those who are good Rotarians "in spirit" but find club meetings in their area inconvenient or impossible can now be included!

2.  "Traditional" clubs can take advantage of extra hands from Rotarians who can't attend their meetings.

And lots more.

So if you know someone who might be interested in the Club on the Cloud, spread the word - and please call in to learn more.
