Durham-GreatBay club adds the district collection. Another truck load to the Saco storage.
Rotary Club of Durham-Great Bay is working the District 7780 to collect Mobility Devices. We offer them to anyone who needs them. When we fill up the storage barn they get collected in a container or two and shipped overseas. This is the 4th Truck load from our club this year. We collect from the transfer stations in our 5 communities and take them north to Saco when we have a truck load or two. The district is filling the containers later this month, to ship it out to Africa.
So far this year, our 5 communities have collected 120 Walkers, 30 wheel chairs, 12 knee scooters, and 300+ Pairs of crutches. It is just amazing how fast the pile builds.
